Epinephrine Aerosol Inhaler is used when patients might be having problems with chest tightness, wheezing that can be caused from asthma, shortness of breath, emphysema, and any other kind of breathing problem. The reason why this is used with patients that might be having breathing problems is because it helps with widening up the airway. Once the airway is opened up then it is easy to breathe. The stimulant is an alpha and beta receptor.

Possible side effects include:

- Problems with sleeping.
- Fast heartbeat
- nausea
- nervousness
- loss of appetite
- tremors

Severe side effects include:

- itching
- hives
- problems with breathing
- wheezing
- swelling in the tongue, lips, face and mouth
- rash

Patients that might be pregnant, or breast feeding, or sensitive with medications, have urinary problems, overactive thyroid, high blood pressure,diabetes, irregular heartbeat, ischemic heart disease, enlarged prostate, and other various heart problems should also talk with their doctor before using it.
